Dear Readers,

Preaching is an oral medium. Like the original stories that later became Biblical canon, a sermon is primarily intended to be spoken word, and not written manuscript.

The words you will find on these pages may seem rather two dimensional, divorced from the performance of them. If you have heard these sermons in person you may find yourself remembering them differently than they are presented here. Reading a sermon is quite different from experiencing the performance of the Word in person, in the company of the body of Christ we call the church congregation. For that reason, I encourage you to visit a house of worship, (perhaps Jerusalem?) to hear the Word preached as it is meant to be.
